About the Artist: ETCHINGS & SILKSCREENS ~

I was first introduced to etchings and silkscreens at Tyler School of Art. I love the connection I feel to old world art when I work on etchings. The physical effort required to execute in this medium pays back in rich results.

Silkscreening is a flexible medium enabling me to create traditional detailed work or to push through to the highly experimental.

Susan McLaughlin was raised in Norristown, PA. She presently resides in Phoenixville, PA

She attended Tyler School of Art in Elkins Park, PA and graduated in 1993.
