About the Artist:
Welcome to Susan McLaughlin Fine Art. I create original artwork through a variety of mediums. I am an established artist who works out of my own studio in Phoenixville, PA.
I enjoy experimenting in various mediums and experimenting in different styles. I feel my art is constantly in growth and I am always making new discoveries in my visions and the mediums in which I work.
I strive to lift people into a new environment so they feel connected to the art they see before them, to stir them, as Mary Cassatt said “...with the sense of art.” This new place is higher and deeper at the same time.
My goal is to emotionally move people, so when they step away from my work, they feel echoes of the connections I have stirred. My art should resonate as an extension of the viewer’s own thoughts and emotions. As they explore my work, the audience feels compelled to look inward and then outward to the physical world surrounding them...much more connected than before.

presently resides in Phoenixville, PA
She attended Tyler School of Art in Elkins Park,
PA and graduated in 1993.
